Quote from letter from Bruce Reimel to Bertha Buttner
Dated 29 Apr. 1982

"Dear Bertha,

Hi! I was glad to receive such a quick response. Your letter was very timely as
I was following up on some of your questions that had arisen regarding Jeremiah.
I found in the Church Records at Stone Church, Upper Mt. Bethel Twp., Northampton Co., Pa. That Sarah Reimel daughter of Abraham & Catherine Hunsberger died
of Heart Disease on 23 Dec. 1891 and is buried at Centerville, Stone Church Cemetery.
What made this all seem rather strange was that I accidentally came across a petition for Divorce dated 12 March 1904, Sarah A. Reimel vs. Jeremiah Reimel.
My first reaction was that I had somehow made a gross error.Sarah could not have died in 1891 if she were filing for divorce in 1904.I later re-checked my records
& decided this needed more research.
Upon reviewing census records, etc. It became obvious that Jeremiah had re-married to
a girl whose first name was the same as his deceased wife.
I was in fact in Easton today checking their Records for some additional clues when your letter arrived. Needless to say you solved that mystery.
I also found a copy of his death certificate, signed by Sarah A., showing he died
at Lower Mt. Bethel Twp. on 6 Sept. 1910.(Archives, Easton Pa., Northampton Cty.)
If you want a copy of it, I'll gladly send one along. I'll also try to get more information
on the Hunsbergers for you. This may take a little time but I'll send it along as soon as I can." Children were:
